ABOUT US Sunnyside is a Community playgroup which offers the opportunity for children aged between 2½ and 5 years to develop their skills, and to learn through play, whilst adhering to the pre-school curriculum for the Foundation Stage. We have a group of talented staff who are trained in offering specialised care for these early formative years. The church hall we use is light and airy with extensive facilities. It has a large, well-equipped kitchen and is suitable for use and access by adults and children with disabilities. We also have access to a secure outdoor play area when the weather permits. Being spacious we are able to offer physical activities such as trikes and scooters each session whilst continuing to maintain a quieter area for activities including craft, reading, role play, puzzles and construction. On Tuesdays and Wednesdays we run a lunch club offering children the opportunity to experience eating together in a social environment. Sunnyside is a sessional day care provider which is inspected by Ofsted and registered to take children under the Nursery Grant Funding for 3 & 4 year olds.
